Return & Exchange Eligibility
You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order. To be eligible. The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as delivered. A valid proof of purchase (order ID or invoice) must be provided
Return & Exchange Exceptions
To ensure hygiene and customer safety, returns or exchanges will not be accepted in the following cases:
- Products that have been used, opened, or are not in original packaging
- Personal care products or consumables (such as powders or supplements) that have been opened or tampered with
- Orders without a valid order ID or invoice submitted during the return/exchange request
- Return/exchange requests made after the 7-day return window
Herboroots reserves the right to decline any return or exchange request that does not meet the above conditions. In such cases, the product may be returned to the customer without refund or replacement.
How to Initiate Return & Exchange
To begin a return or exchange, please visit the Return & Exchange section on our website. Follow the step-by-step instructions and submit your request.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please follow the steps below to raise a return or exchange request:
- Take clear, well-lit photos showing the issue (e.g., visible damage, wrong product, etc.)
- Upload the photos and submit the return form with all necessary details
- Ensure the information is accurate to avoid any delay in processing
We recommend inspecting your order upon delivery. All issues must be reported within 7 days of receiving the product.
Note: Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund will be processed instead.
Return Pickup & Inspection
Once your return request is approved, a reverse pickup will be scheduled at your address. Please ensure the product is properly packed, preferably in its original box, to prevent any damage during return transit. Upon receiving the product at our facility, it undergoes a quality inspection to verify eligibility.
If the product meets the inspection criteria. The return will be approved, and the item will become eligible for refund initiation.
If the product does not meet the inspection criteria (for example, if it is used, damaged, or not in its original packaging) The return request will be declined, and the product will be sent back to you without any refund or exchange.
Herboroots reserves the right to make the final decision based on the inspection outcome.
Refund Processing Timeline
Eligible refunds are initiated within 1–2 working days. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated from our end.
Refund Credit Timeline
The refunded amount will be credited within 7–10 working days after the refund has been initiated. For prepaid orders, the amount will be returned to the original payment method. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, the refund will be processed to the bank account details provided during the return request.
Please note that the exact credit timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Order Cancellation & Modification
If you wish to cancel your order or request any changes such as updating the shipping address, quantity, or product variant, please contact our customer care team as soon as possible.
Order cancellation or modification is only possible before the order has been processed or dispatched. Once the order is shipped, no further changes or cancellations can be made.
However, if your order has already been delivered, you may raise a return request in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
Shipping & COD Charges
We offer free shipping on all orders, whether prepaid or Cash on Delivery (COD). There are no shipping charges applied at any stage of the checkout process.
However, for COD orders, a separate COD service fee is charged. This fee is not a shipping charge, but a processing and handling cost levied by courier partners for collecting payment at the time of delivery.
In case of a return:
- Only the product cost will be refunded once the return is approved and processed
- The COD service fee is strictly non-refundable, as it is a third-party handling charge and not related to product shipping
